Lindsay Fuson MSN, APRN, FNP-C, Nurse Practitioner

Lindsay graduated from Emory University and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).  She has had the privilege for the past 7 years to support children, adolescent, and adult patients facing a variety of mental health conditions and is currently completing her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification at the University of Alabama.

Lindsay prescribes and manages treatment with psychiatric medications in a way that is collaborative.  She feels like she has done her job when her patients leave each appointment feeling more empowered and informed.  She works with attentional disorders (ADHD/ADD), anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, panic disorder, sleep disorders, thought disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders.  She brings a holistic and person-centered lens to her work with all patients.

Lindsay acknowledges that medication may not be everyone’s first choice of treatment and sometimes shame or stigma can delay care.  But know that she would not be in this field if she didn’t see first-hand the radical transformation psychiatric medications make on her patients’ lives.  She invites you to bring your questions, fears, and hopes on this journey towards wellness.
