Becoming a Couple

A Workshop in Preparation for Your Marriage

It has been said that if we spent half the money and time preparing for our marriage as we do preparing for our wedding, we could cut the divorce rate significantly. Let's get started!

This workshop provides an opportunity for couples to explore important topics related to their marriage, including the benefits of marriage; predictive behaviors for both successful marriage and divorce; communication and conflict management; spirituality; sexuality; financial responsibilities; marital roles; extended family relationships and children.

This group meets Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM in Room B-308.

Led by Sandra S. Hoffman, Ph.D. and Stacey J. Hoffman, Ph.D., licensed psychologists. The format includes brief presentations, handouts, exercises, role-playing and discussion, all designed to keep you engaged and attentive.

The cost of this workshop, including lunch and snacks, is included in your wedding fees. If your wedding is not scheduled at FPC, the cost is $200 per couple.
